Chorin, Germany
MAY 2027
Our Story
The festival was born when OOC came to life five years ago. We’re a group of five, passionate about bringing people together through different artistic forms.
As we hosted different events in Berlin, we observed the OOC community was organically growing, and at some point, it just clicked - why not create a space where we could all come together for five days in a beautiful countryside location near Berlin?
Our first festival happened in 2021, and since then, with a year-break in between, we’ve pulled off three editions. And the next one? It’s happening in May 2027.
Stay tuned—there’s so much more to come!

The Land & Location
The festival takes place in an area where history, nature, and culture beautifully intertwine. Set on the scenic peninsula of Pehlitzwerder, the site is surrounded by ancient trees and whispers of the past. One of its most captivating features are the ruins of the Mariensee Monastery, an ambitious extension of the Lehnin Monastery that was abandoned mid-construction due to the challenging swampy land. The Cistercian monks eventually moved their efforts to Chorin, where they founded the majestic Chorin Abbey in 1258, still standing today as an iconic example of Brick Gothic architecture.
Beyond the monastery ruins lies the Schorfheide-Chorin Biosphere Reserve, a haven of diverse landscapes and ecological wonders, where nature thrives in all its untamed glory.
The festival itself takes place on the expansive grounds of a farmhouse built in 1834. Over the years, it has served many purposes—from a thriving farm to housing dozens of WWII refugees, to being a holiday camp, and now, a private home to a close-knit community of friends and families. Nestled in the heart of Brandenburg’s stunning landscape and right beside a tranquil private lake, this place is as special as it is steeped in history.
This unique blend of past and present, culture and nature, provides the perfect backdrop for the festival. It’s a space to connect deeply with the land’s stories, while crafting new ones together.
